Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to common questions about therapy, insurance, first visits, and how to get started with TheraFit Rehab.
What can I expect at my first therapy appointment?

Your first visit includes a conversation about your goals, medical history, current challenges, and daily routines. A licensed therapist will complete an evaluation based on the service you need, explain what they find, and recommend a personalized plan for care.

TheraFit Rehab provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, fitness therapy, maintenance therapy, adaptive gym memberships, and specialized rehabilitation for neurological, orthopedic, pediatric, and complex needs.
Yes. TheraFit Rehab works with children, adults, and seniors. Each care plan is adapted to the patient’s age, diagnosis, abilities, goals, and everyday activities.
Our team supports patients with stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, back pain, knee pain, sciatica, pediatric motor delays, mobility limitations, and other neurological or orthopedic needs.
Please bring a photo ID, insurance card, referral or prescription if your plan requires one, completed paperwork, a medication list, and any braces, mobility devices, or recent reports that may help your therapist understand your needs.
Wear comfortable clothing that lets you move easily and gives your therapist access to the area being treated. Athletic shoes are recommended for balance, walking, strengthening, and mobility work.
The number of visits depends on your evaluation, diagnosis, goals, insurance requirements, and progress over time. Your therapist will review the recommended frequency with you and adjust the plan as your needs change.

TheraFit Rehab works with many insurance plans. Coverage can vary by plan, service, location, and medical necessity, so our team can help verify benefits and explain expected costs before or during scheduling.
